Kasih (kas-seh)

an Indonesian word that means both to give and to love

Founded in 2015, Kasih Initiative is a woman/minority-owned business and is a full-service strategic planning and development firm. Kasih Initiative specializes in outreach and engagement with many of Colorado’s outdoor recreation, conservation, and environmental justice organizations. Leveraging the strength of our partners’ networks, we cut across cultural boundaries to engage communities on their terms to identify the specific needs and barriers of the community. We then coalesce these needs into implementable projects and programs and work with organizations to seek grant funding from numerous government and private foundations.

Our Mission

Kasih Initiative seeks to help organizations succeed in their missions by capitalizing on funding opportunities through private foundations and government grant opportunities.

We accomplish this through targeted community and stakeholder engagement, facilitating strategic planning, and writing persuasive grant proposals.
